Paradise Wildlife Park Review & Giveaway

Paradise Wildlife Park Review & Giveaway

This summer holiday has flown by, and I am starting to feel very nostalgic realizing another summer holiday is gone. I am known for being a summer and sunshine lover, and the vision of many grey and wet months is making me feel sad.

Luckily there are a few family-friendly places that we tend to visit even during those months. Today I am happy to say that our list has been extended with another lovely place, the Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. We have been kindly sent free entry tickets and invited to review this attraction and let my blog readers know what we thought of this place.

We have been living in Hertfordshire for years, and I cannot believe that this was the first time we actually went there. It is a bit further than other paces we tend to visit, but definitley worth the extra time. It was still only about 40 minutes drive.

For our visit we chose the Sunday before the last August bank holiday, and we were super lucky with dry and hot weather.

Both girls were excited about seeing wild animals they have never or rarely seen before. We enjoyed spying on wolves while exploring the park on their lovely little train. My favourite were all the wild cat animals. How can anyone not love watching the white tigers or lions?

Monkeys were also a huge hit with my girls!

There were so many things to see and do, from climbing frames to seeing loads of animals. I also ticked one of the “things to do” off my list.

I touched, stroked a python! Yes, me who cannot stand looking at sakes and is very scared of them, I overcame my fear after my 5-year-old Olivia was happily stroking a python with her big sister. I have always wanted to do so, and was actually nicely surprised that the experience was not bad at all.

There is also a splash area, which due to the super hot weather was way too busy for us to join, but hopefully another time.

All in all, I can easily understand this place has been voted as HERTFORDSHIRE’S BEST ATTRACTION!
