Have a Happy Chinese “N-ewe” Year at Willows Activity Farm

For families looking for things to do this upcoming half term, Willows Activity Farm is celebrating Chinese New Year and the start of ‘the year of the sheep’ at the February Frolics Lambing event!

What better way to celebrate the Chinese ‘year of the sheep’ than at Willows Activity Farm’s February Frolics lambing event, between the 14 – 22 February?

Willows’ annual lambing event during the February half term will welcome hundreds of new-born lambs with live births, bottle feeding demonstrations and the chance to learn all about lambing time on the farm from the Willows Shepherd.

It is said that people born into the Chinese calendar year of the sheep are gentle, kind and naturally cautious.

“You’ll see all types of animal personalities at Willows, but the lambs born during February Frolics typically show their inquisitiveness and curiosity as they take milk from their mothers for the first time, and explore their new surroundings,” said Farmer Anna.

Families can also enjoy fleecy arts & crafts activities, and children can even make their own Chinese ‘lamb-tern’!
As well as all the fun in the lambing marquee, visitors can enjoy acres of weather-proof, under cover activities including Woolly Jumpers Indoor Play Barn, Captain Chicken’s Egg Dodge, The Farmyard, shows in Woolly’s Showtime Theatre, and imaginative play in Toddler Town.

Willows’ all-inclusive price means families can enjoy a carefree day of wholesome fun. For tickets or more information, visit www.willowsactivityfarm.com, call 0870 129 9718 or follow @Willows_Farm on Twitter.
