If you are spending the long summer holidays in the UK, I have a great tip for a family day out. Isabelle went on a school trip to the Odds Farm a few months back, and was telling me how much she loved it there. As we are always busy, we did not have a chance to see this place until just a few days before we had left for our summer holidays in the Czech Republic. I was nicely surprised we did not live that far from the Odds Farm, and how easy it was to get there.
There was so much to do, but unfortunately we had only a couple of hours before we headed back home, and both girls were literally in tears and probably thought I was the worst mother taking them back home while they were having so much fun. I promised we would be back soon, after our summer holidays, and am absolutely sure we will.
This place is very family friendly, and what I really liked was how much outdoor fun was there available for children of all ages. As it was a very sunny day, we loved exploring the farm and the animals as well as playing golf. We were also lucky as we had a chance to see one of the Charles Chipperfield Circus’ shows, which was a great hit with both girls. Isabelle also took part in the skills workshop afterwards.
