Win London Activity Book & FREE Event at Foyles!

As part of Foyles Bookshops’ very exciting Summer of Fun, London Activity Book illustrator Esther Coombs will be hosting an afternoon of London-themed children’s activities at the Charing Cross Road branch on Tuesday 28th July, 2-3pm.

London Activity Book contains all sorts of fun things to do this summer, from mazes and spot the difference to drawing, cutting and sticking and much more besides. There are even postcards at the back, which can be popped out, coloured in and posted to friends and family around the world!

At Foyles, expect to see activities inspired by the book; from making and decorating paper crowns to dressing paper dolls up as Beefeaters, or perhaps as Pearly Kings and Queens. There will be plenty to keep children entertained and best of all, the event is free!

For more information and to book your spot, visit: http://www.foyles.co.uk/Public/Events/Detail.aspx?eventId=2623

I’d give it to my younger son, Hector, who has just turned 6 and has not yet been to London. Hector is all too aware that his older brother has been to London – but as I pointed out, his brother went when he was 7, and Hector’s going to go when he is only 6! I aim to take him sometime before Christmas. Saving the pennies at the moment!
