A few weeks ago I was approached by VitalityMove to help spread the word about their family-friendly fitness & music festival #VitalityMove. Me and my family are very into fitness and keeping healthy, and when I realised it was the awesome Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill’s latest campaign, there was no way we would not be part of i!
There are 2 events, happening on 9th July (Chatsworth) and 17th September (Windsor) and there will be the chance to take part in 1-mile, 5k and 10k runs set to live music by the fabulous DJ Trevor Nelson, plus loads of other fun activities throughout each day for everyone to get involved.
Being part of this great campaign also means me and my girls will be joining a training bootcamp day with Jess Ennis-Hill herself!
This is undoubtedly going to be one of my “running career” highlights as Jess is such a great inspiration for me and my girls, and cannot wait to run and train with Jess in 2 weeks’ time in Windsor.
To help me track my fitness progress I have also been sent a few gifts by VitalityMove like a Tomtom Spark 3 fitness watch, a Runner’s World training program, a health MOT check at my local Nuffield Health Gym (before the event and 1 year later), a 6-month gym membership to Nuffield Health, and some other running essentials.
VitalityMove have teamed up with Diabetes UK who are offering my readers 10% off tickets and for every paying entry, VitalityMove will donate £1 to Diabetes UK. Use this code at the checkout: MIRKA10. Buy tickets here!
Come and join me & my family in #Windsor! Keep active!
Jess Ennis‘ overarching mission for the #VitalityMove event is to inspire more people to be active.
