You might remember seeing a competition on this blog to attend the above premiere and join me and my family. Last Sunday was a very special day for my little Olivia as we went to the Peppa Pig “The Golden Boots” Premiere at the Odeon cinema at Leicester Square.
It was a very cold morning, but that did not stop us from having a few pictures taken on the “pink” Peppa Pig carpet. I was surprised Olivia was very keen this time, as usually it is very hard to have pictures with her and anything/anyone a little big bigger than her. Just look at her!
As soon as we entered the Odeon cinema, I spotted 2 very lovely people that are well known to many little children and parents, gorgeous looking Jen and Derek from the Milkshake show.
I rarely ask celebrities to have pictures with them, but I have “known” them for almost 8 years now, and I just felt I had to do it for Isabelle too, as she used to love them so much.
Shame it looks like Olivia was not smiling on the photo, but she was trying really hard to say “cheese”!

After our little celebrity spotting we headed to the cinema to get our seats. At the end we went for the seats in the second row, very close to the screen, which from time to time made Olivia want to touch it!
There were so many activities for kids to enjoy before watching the episode, and Olivia was very pleased with her hand painting of Peppa Pig, and did not want to wash her hand for ages!
The audience went very quiet once the creators of Peppa Pig appeared on the stage, and I think they received an amazing applause for all their hard work from all the Peppa pig lovers present at the premiere!
Olivia had an amazing time as well as me, and on our way out of the cinema she managed to get a last picture taken with both her favourite characters!
On our way back home Olivia was checking all the lovely gifts in her goody bag. A very generous bag I have to say, and we still have not opened all the gifts yet!If you have a little Peppa pig fan at home, go and watch it this half-term. It’s too good to miss!
