My Girls Cooking with Munch Bunch

My Girls Cooking with Munch Bunch

Both my girls are huge Munch Bunch fans, and were delighted to be invited to their cookery event 2 weeks ago. We do bake and cook with the girls at home, but not enough, and any opportunity to be messy “not in my” kitchen is highly appreciated.

While my girls were having fun making pizza and fruit muffins at The Kids Cookery School, where by the way also baked Mr Tumble not long ago, I was having a chat with about Munch Bunch’s latest #LessIsMore campaign, promoting their 30% Less Sugar fromage frais new bigger pots.

Despite buying Munch Bunch products every week to make sure both girls get enough calcium and protein for healthy bone growth, I have to say I have not seen the 30% less sugar pots in our local supermarket, which is a shame as offering less sugar is always great.

You might think that less sugar means that the taste will be very different and that your little ones will recogase this. I tested the 30% less sugar version and can tell you that I could not tell the difference. This was also later confirmed by both my girls who munched on a few pots without even thinking they were any different.

Afterwards I asked them if the pots were any different and they agreed the colour was lighter than usual, nothing else. When I told them they were supposed to be less sweet they were surprised. the only feedback they had was to also make these in their most favourite apricot version!

Why Munch Bunch?

Made from a combination of all natural ingredients including fruit puree, Munch Bunch’s 30% Less Sugar range offers the same creamy fromage frais as other popular Munch Bunch products, yet with 30% less sugar!

Having first launched in February 2015, Munch Bunch’s 30% Less Sugar fromage frais small pots are now joined by a 30% Less Sugar big pot, with both products currently part of a ‘love the taste or your money back’ guarantee, promising a full refund if families are not satisfied with the taste.

Available in two great-tasting fruit flavours – strawberry and raspberry – you can find Munch Bunch’s 30% Less Sugar small pots in Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and online at Ocado, at RRP £1.59 per 6 x 42g multipack.

The newly launched 30% Less Sugar strawberry flavour big pots are available in Asda and online at Ocado, priced at RRP £1.69 per 4 x 85g multipack.

Have you tried these with your children yet? Go and look out for them in your supermarket, and let me know your thoughts.
