Moonpig Spring Collection

IMG_0210 (2)
Just before Mother’s day I was invited to Moonpig’s blogging event at the very cool Sky Bar at the Grange Holborn Hotel in London. Last year I attended their first event and that’s when I found out that Moonpig is not just about lovely personalised cards, but much more. You could have seen this brand being featured on my blog a few times before as I have also run a few competitions.

This time not only I managed to catch up with quiet a few of my lovely blogging friends, but also had a chance to learn hot to make a hand-tied bouquet myself.

Me, Jacqui from Mummy’s Little Monkey and Uju from Babes About Town

We had a presentation by one of Moonpig’s florists, and can tell you right now it looks much easier than it really is.

IMG_0217 (2)The pressure was on as we all were checking how others’ bouquets were coming on…. but in all in all, I really enjoyed this experience and can tell you right now that the next time I will be getting a bouquet will appreciate it even more as so much work and love is involved when being made.

And this is the result! What do you think?

There were loads of products on display, and except loads of stunning flower bouquets, chocolates, champagne hampers and also gifts for men, I found this adorable tea set! I fell in love with the Time for Tea set which by the way is currently on offer for £40!

Isn’t is just adorable?

IMG_0206We also had a chance to taste lots of different teas as one of Moonpig’s retailers, the English Tea Shop was present and was telling us all about how to brew the best cuppa!

I am known as a huge coffee drinker, but I also love tea, especially Rooibos, peppermint and fruit teas. I really enjoyed testing and tasting different teas and have also been sent quite a few packs recently to make at home. Cannot wait to host a  tea party!

English Tea Shop

And here are a few tips I have collected about making the best cup of tea!

1. Choose the best water, it should not be from the tap!
2. Boil to 100C
3. Add 2gm of tea in a teapot or a tea bag in a cup
4. Pour 150 ml of boiled water
5. SLURP the tea!

Here you, it’s that simple!
