Regular readers of my blog will know, I was pregnant not long ago, and thanks to swimming I managed to keep myself fit and in shape. I really enjoyed my pregnancy, and one of the main differences between my first and second pregnancy was, that I decided to get some gorgeous pregnancy clothes and also a swimming costume.
I had no idea that what you put on during such a precious time can really have such a huge impact on how you can be feeling. Getting huge was one of the biggest worries of mine as I have always had to watch my diet, and didn’t want to put on loads of weight… but I did during my first pregnancy. When pregnant the second time round, I made sure that wouldn’t happen again, and swimming helped me with that. When you are pregnant you can get away with your normal swimming costume during the first few months, but then it is definitely worth getting a proper maternity swimming costume, as there is nothing worse than a pregnant lady wearing the same bikini as when she was 15 kilos less! I went for tankini, and have found quite few gorgeous on Amoralia‘s website. Not only they offer many types of swimwear, but also so many different colours. Why not to choose some bright pink or turquoise swimwear to draw even more attention to your gorgeous bump?
When I see maternity bikinis like these I wish I was pregnant again. Aren’t’ they adorable?
Don’t forget, that comfortable and nicely looking lingerie is also a must during these months and why not get yourself some nice nightwear too? I remember the first few days after getting home from hospital I literally spent living in my pyjamas, and why not? You need to feel comfortable but can still look nice when you answer the door or accept presents for your new arrival.
When it comes to maternity and nursing bras, it isn’t easy to find a comfortable and nice looking one, but it isn’t impossible. Amoralia has a wide variety and am sure you would only agree. When browsing their website, I found so many to choose from. From every day maternity bras to some gorgeous sexy lacy ones, maybe even for a night out with daddy!

I love the maternity underwear, I too did more swimming with this pregnancy and wore a maternity swimsuit, I wasn’t brave enough to don a bikini!! But now that I am coming to the end of my pregnancy my focus is turning to nursing bras and post-natal underwear. I threw away all of my old nursing bras from the previous two pregnancies but have struggled to find new underwear that still makes me feel like a woman, not just a Mummy!!
