Tommee Tippee launching The Day Baby Was Born – free digital storybook!

Last week I was invited to check out Tommee Tippee’s digital storybook, which has been designed for parents to keep all the precious memories and be also able to share them with their family and friends. I have actually never heard of anything like this before, and if I tell you that it is for free and the only thing you need is to have a Facebook account, I can hear you shouting: “tell us more, tell us more!”

As you know, I am pregnant again, and I only wish this has been out a few months earlier so that I could record our baba number two’s whole journey to this world. Basically what it means, parents can create a free, personalised story book which will be one day available even to their children to check out and look back at! The site automatically gathers information about the day baby is born, and can also be printed, saved or shared with your friends!

And what can you have in your storybook?

  1. Pregnancy announcement
  2. Pregnancy journal
  3. Birth announcement
  4. News & facts
  5. Your personal story
  6. A letter to your baby
  7. Photo

For each section you can decide if to include it in the final storybook, and which comments you would like to appear there too. I also like that you can write your little journal of how you were feeling when pregnant, or what happened in the world when your baba was born.

I think it is a brilliant application for all parents and am sure it will soon become very popular. Don’t forget to spread the word and let all your pregnant friends know about it!
