Ladybird Favourite Fairy Tales for Girls
The first book I have been sent for a review by Ladybird was the beautifully illustrated Ladybird treasury of eight classic, traditional tales. The stories included are: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, The Magic Porridge Pot, Little Red Hen and The Ugly Duckling. I love all these stories, and was also finding very interesting to find out where each of them originated from. They are perfect length for a bedtime story, and the pictures are really beautiful. This could be a great gift for your little princess this Christmas!

Postcards from Ladybird: 100 Classic Ladybird Covers in One Box
The next Ladybird product I was sent, was a unique collection of 100 postcards, each featuring a different and iconic Ladybird book cover from the 1940s to 1970s. From the first ever Ladybird book Bunnikin’s Picnic Party, to Well-Loved Tales and How It Works, this is a selection from over thirty years of beloved Ladybird illustration in one sturdy little gift box. A perfect nostalgia gift for all Ladybird fans and again a fantastic Christmas present!
Ladybird have donated another one of these postcard collections for an All Baby Advice subscriber. All you have to do is visit their website and let me know which book you would buy from their website, and don’t forget to leave a way of contacting you. For additional entries you can click the buttons below ( Twitter, Stumble, Facebook, Digg, Google +1, etc.) and let me know you did so in another comment. Please use a separate comment for each entry. Maximum 4 entries. The winner will be revealed here and on Twitter. The competition ends on 20/12/2011.
Good luck everyone

Wow, I forgot about these books, I have had a tear in my eye remembering years gone by. Remember the fruit and vegetable gang books too, and topsy and tim! Gosh!! I feel so old now.
Beautiful to see them using the original covers for the Peter and Jane books, I chose this one, but simply because I feel that I remember a similar picture on a cover of a book I read as a child. I remember looking at drawings of sweet treats, toys and places in awe! We really read alot with our children, but I wonder if they will ever feel emotionally the way we did amongst all this modern technology.

I’m so excited to discover that Ladybird have released a range of their classic covers! I was a real bookworm as a child in the late 70s/80s and had so many Ladybird books. I would buy my daughter the ‘Topsy and Tim Go To School’ book, as she is changing primary school after Christmas and is quite nervous about it. That book helped me feel happier about going to school when I was little.
