At the World Premiere of Pan Movie in London #PanMovie

Cannot believe it will be 2 weeks this Sunday we were invited to the world premiere of Pan Movie at Leicester Square in London. I can still shiver with excitement and can tell you now, it was an unforgettable day for us all.

To celebrate the release of PAN (in cinemas Friday 16th October) Warner Bros. Pictures transformed London’s Leicester Square Gardens into Neverland.

On the day before the actual premiere there were activities for general public to enjoy. Entering through tropical floral arches visitors could discover an immersive take-over of the gardens:

Blackbeard’s Pirate Training Tent – With pirate school, green screen booth, map and telescope making, Pirate graffiti wall, face painting and temporary tattoos

Pan’s Warrior Tent – Drumming lessons, panpipes and musical crafts, headdress making, face painting, colour explosion painting experience

Tiger Lily’s Kingdom – Making and decorating fairy wings, magical makeover zone, panning for pixie crystals, fun with bubbles

Jolly Roger Stage – In the centre of the gardens on a stage dressed as the deck of the Jolly Roger with masts and rigging a large screen was announcing the day’s activities and live performances that took place throughout that day.

Being invited to such a premiere was an honour for us, and we made sure we made the most of the time spent on the blue carpet and mixing among the celebrities. I loved every moment of it.

Unfortunately we arrived quite early and for my girls was much more important to get some face painting and hair decorations done than waiting with mummy to get a photo with Hugh Jackman! Anyway, I know for next time to turn up much later…

And what did we think about the movie? Well I absolutely loved it and thought it was utterly brilliant! I enjoyed the different take on the well known story, but I am not going to reveal much more. The special effects, the choice of actors, costumes, make-up and everything was just perfect!

Both my girls sat down watching closely and Isabelle said it was the best “Peter Pan” movie she has seen.

You all look absolutely lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your photos on social media and it’s even better to read about the experience. Peter Pan is probably my favourite cartoon – fell totally in love with him as a child – and have always adored the legend. I’m fascinated to see the film and if Isabelle’s review is correct (and I trust your girl) it must be an awesome movie for sure. You guys rocked the red carpet! x
